The Taylor County Conservation District will host the November monthly meeting on Monday November 25th at 12 NOON EST at the local office. The meeting is open to the public.

Layer up, get outside, and explore the beauty of snow covered fields and forest along the Green River on the trail system at the Tebbs Bend Nature Area!

This Saturday, November 9, 2019 the Junior Conservation Board will be giving away 100 recycle bins to those who bring in recyclables. They will be set up at the Gazebo in Miller Park from 9 AM - 1 PM EST
The recycle bins will be given away on a first come first serve basis.

Friendly reminder that the office will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019 in observance of the federal holiday, Veteran's Day. Thanks!

Enjoy the Autumn season this weekend and we will see you back on Tuesday, October 15. Our office will be closed Monday, October 14 in observance of the federal holiday, Columbus Day.

The mission of the Taylor County Conservation District is to promote and conserve the conservation of the natural and renewable resources of our county. This is accomplished through education in the local schools and to the general public along with technical assistance for conservation planning and application of best management practices. The district celebrated their 75th anniversary in 2018.
